Ann Turkel's former husband Richard Harris has passed away after just eight years of marriage and twenty years of divorce. Turkel was born to an ethnically Jewish family and was raised by her mother in Manhattan. Ann's appearance together with her group at an event for fashion was when Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Within a matter of a few days, editor-in chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the first Vogue Cover featuring photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was soon one of most coveted models of all time, featuring her cover in the top fashion magazines Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann has been a model who was successful for cosmetics companies like Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe after two years.
